Reliable Crane & Rigging has served Sonoma County, Marin County, Solano County, Sacramento, and surrounding areas of the North Bay and Northern California for over 75 years.

We offer mobile crane rental, taxi crane service, trucking, forklift, and heavy moving services. We’re available for a wide array of heavy lifting and moving projects, from long-term construction projects to quick jobs. Standard and bare rental are available.

We bring to every job a store of knowledge and a history of safety that enables us to lift and move your heavy load safely, efficiently, and accurately. Difficult or unusual projects are not a problem. We have the experience to figure them out and get them done.

We’re a small company, so the whole team focuses on your job. You’ll typically get the same crane operators, riggers, and signalers every day, who know your project and all its details. History

We got our start in 1947 as Geister Brothers, a North Bay storage and trucking company. In addition to moving common goods and materials, the Geisters developed a specialty in moving large, heavy, awkward, and unusual loads. You can’t move heavy objects without lifting them, so the company added cranes and forklifts. The Geisters were big on using the latest technologies of the mid 20th Century, and added hydraulic cranes, truck cranes, all-terrain cranes, and boom trucks. The company grew quickly in size, capability, and reputation. After a couple changes of ownership they became Reliable Crane & Rigging. This makes Reliable Crane & Rigging the oldest crane company in Sonoma County.

Safety

Safe work is efficient work. Reliable Crane & Rigging places a premium on safety. Stringent, documented adherence to safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) means that Reliable Crane & Rigging is easily cleared for jobs for government, utilities, and other regulated industries. It minimizes the possibility of damage, delays, and interruptions to time-sensitive projects. And it means lower costs overall. The most expensive job is a cheap one that’s done poorly.
